Business coaching has emerged as a powerful tool for individuals and entrepreneurs looking to level up their skills, overcome obstacles, and reach new heights in their careers. Whether you’re an aspiring business leader, an entrepreneur, or a professional seeking to refine your skills, we aim to provide clarity on typical price ranges for business coaching and the factors influencing these costs.
What is Business Coaching?
Business coaching is a dynamic and transformative process designed to support individuals, entrepreneurs, and business owners in achieving their personal and professional goals. It involves a collaborative partnership between the coach and the client, where the coach serves as a facilitator, motivator, and strategic guide. The primary focus of business coaching is to empower clients to unlock their full potential, overcome challenges, and make significant progress toward their desired outcomes.
Factors Influencing Business Coaching Costs
The experience and qualifications of a business coach play a significant role in determining their coaching fees. Coaches with extensive experience in the industry and a proven track record of helping clients achieve remarkable results, like at MaxMyProfit, make the additional business cost worth it. These coaches have accumulated a wealth of knowledge, skills, and insights over the years, making them highly sought after for their expertise.
Average Business Coaching Costs
As a general guide, business coaching typically ranges from $12,000 to $40,000 per annum. The cost can vary based on several factors, including the coach’s experience, the level of personalisation, the frequency of coaching sessions, and the size of your business and team.
Whilst the cost of your business coaching program is important, it shouldn’t be your only deciding factor. For example, a group business coaching program may be cheaper, however, working within a group usually means the program is not tailored to your specific needs and it will take longer for you to get a return on investment.
When deciding how much to spend on a business coach, it’s essential to consider several factors. While the cost is significant, it should not be the sole deciding factor. Business coaching is an investment in your business’s future, and a more substantial investment can yield greater returns in terms of business growth and profitability.
To determine the right investment level for your business coaching program, consider your specific needs and goals. Assess how much individual attention and industry expertise you require to overcome your business challenges and achieve sustainable growth.
ROI of Business Coaching
Business coaching offers a diverse range of advantages that contribute to a business’s development and success:
- Strategic Business Planning: Coaches help businesses identify clear goals, develop actionable plans, and implement effective strategies. By aligning efforts with a well-defined vision, businesses can optimise their operations and position themselves for growth opportunities.
- Enhanced Leadership and Management: Business coaching empowers business owners and managers with improved leadership and management skills. Effective leadership fosters a positive work culture, increases employee engagement, and drives productivity.
- Streamlined Business Processes: Coaches assist in identifying inefficiencies in workflows and operations, streamlining processes, and introducing time-saving techniques. This improved efficiency can lead to reduced costs and increased productivity.
- Customer-Centric Approaches: Business coaching emphasises the importance of understanding customer expectations and building strong client relationships. By delivering exceptional service, businesses can secure repeat customers and earn valuable referrals.
- Focus on Profitable Ventures: Coaches help businesses assess their profitability and prioritise ventures that yield the highest return. This strategic approach ensures that resources are allocated to projects with the most potential for success.
- Empowerment and Accountability: Coaches provide the necessary support, encouragement, and accountability to keep businesses focused on their goals. This sense of empowerment translates into increased motivation and a commitment to achieving targets.

If you’re a tradie entrepreneur or business owner looking to take your trades business to new heights, you’re in the right place. As experts in the trades industry, we understand that being a skilled tradesperson is only one piece of the puzzle. To truly excel in today’s competitive market, tradies need more than technical expertise; they require strong business management skills, strategic planning, and the guidance of a trusted advisor.
In this article, we will explore the invaluable benefits of business coaching for tradies, providing insights into how this powerful partnership can transform your business.
The Role of Business Coaching in the Trades Industry
Business coaching is a personalised and collaborative approach to helping tradie entrepreneurs and business owners overcome challenges and achieve their goals. A business coach works closely with tradies to identify areas of improvement, create actionable plans, and provide ongoing support and guidance throughout the process.
Unlike traditional consulting, where a consultant may provide specific advice or solutions, business coaching focuses on empowering tradies to discover their strengths, address weaknesses, and develop effective problem-solving skills. Business coaches act as mentors, asking thought-provoking questions and encouraging critical thinking to foster long-term growth and self-reliance.
Key Benefits of Business Coaching for Tradies
- Time Management and Organisation: Time management is crucial for tradies who often juggle multiple projects, client appointments, and administrative tasks. Business coaching helps tradies develop effective time management techniques, such as creating daily schedules, setting priorities, and avoiding distractions.
- Financial Management and Budgeting: Many tradies excel in their trade skills but may lack proficiency in financial management. Business coaching addresses this gap by providing guidance on tracking income and expenses, creating budgets, and monitoring financial health regularly.
- Inventory Management and Procurement: Efficient inventory management is vital for tradies who rely on materials and supplies for their projects. Coaches help tradies implement inventory tracking systems to monitor stock levels, reduce waste, and prevent stockouts.
- Project Management: Tradies often handle multiple projects simultaneously, and project management skills are essential for success. Business coaching may introduce project planning tools, techniques for setting project milestones, and methods for tracking progress.
- Strategic Planning: Business coaching encourages tradies to think long-term and develop strategic plans for their businesses. Coaches assist in setting achievable goals, defining a clear vision for the future, and outlining the steps to reach those objectives.
- Legal and Regulatory Compliance: Staying compliant with relevant laws and regulations is essential for tradie businesses. Coaches help tradies understand legal requirements related to licensing, insurance, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Communication and Leadership: Effective communication and leadership skills are vital for tradies who manage teams or interact with clients regularly. Business coaching may include communication workshops, conflict resolution strategies, and techniques for providing constructive feedback.
Finding the Right Business Coach
To find the right business coach for tradies, the first step is to identify the specific needs of your trade business. Ask yourself the following questions:
- Are you spending more than 80% of your time working on the tools?
If you find yourself spending too much time on the tools and not enough time working ‘on’ the business, it may be a sign that you need coaching to develop effective time management and business planning strategies. A business coach can help you create a balance between working in the field and focusing on business growth.
- Does your trades business rely on you?
If your business heavily relies on you, it can hinder growth and prevent you from taking breaks or vacations without affecting your income. A business coach can assist you in building a strong team and implementing systems and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure the business can operate efficiently without your constant presence.
- Do you find yourself running out of time to get everything done?
If you struggle with time management and find yourself overwhelmed with administrative tasks, a business coach can introduce strategies to make your business more efficient. This may involve implementing tools, systems, and delegation techniques to optimise your productivity.
- Do you have a plan?
If you don’t have a clear business plan with defined goals and strategies, a business coach can help you create one. A well-defined plan will provide a roadmap for your business’s future, outlining sales targets, profitability goals, and the steps needed to achieve them.
- Are you making money?
If your business is not as profitable as you’d like it to be, a business coach can analyse your financials and provide guidance on improving profitability. They can help you identify areas of inefficiency and develop strategies to maximise your earnings.
- Do you have a great team you can trust and rely on?
The only way you’ll build a successful trades business is to recruit the right people. If you don’t feel like you can trust and rely on your team, then it’s going to be hard for you to delegate tasks with confidence. You’ll need to learn how to find and hire great tradies and other team members.
- Are you happy?
Your business is a large part of your life, and it’s important that you enjoy running your trades business. If you get up each morning and dread having to ‘go to work’ then you need to make a change. If nothing changes… nothing changes.

Digital marketing allows businesses to expand their reach, engage with customers in real time, and measure the success of their campaigns. Digital marketing helps businesses do that by providing various ways for companies to connect with customers and potential customers.
By leveraging digital tools such as SEO, content marketing, social media marketing, and email marketing, businesses can better understand their customers and create targeted campaigns that resonate with them. This allows businesses to build strong relationships, increase brand recognition, and ultimately drive sales.
1. Increased Brand Awareness
Digital marketing allows you to reach a much wider audience than traditional marketing, allowing you to quickly grow your customer base and become more recognizable in the industry. Digital marketing allows companies to reach a wide audience quickly and cost-effectively, without relying solely on traditional advertising methods such as print media and television commercials. It allows businesses to extend their reach into channels like social media, search engine optimization, content marketing and email campaigns to make their presence known online.
Digital marketing is increasingly important for businesses in terms of increasing brand awareness and exposure. With the popularity of social media platforms such as Instagram and Twitter, companies can now reach potential customers around the world with a simple post or tweet. An effective digital marketing strategy can help ensure that your business is seen by a larger audience and that potential customers can find and interact with you.
2. Improved Conversion Rates
Using targeted digital campaigns, you can tailor content for specific audiences that is more likely to convert into customers or leads. Digital marketing helps businesses reach target audiences effectively and efficiently, and track the impact of their marketing efforts. This leads to a better understanding of customer behaviour and improved conversion rates through targeted, personalized and data-driven campaigns.
Digital marketing also enables businesses to gather data on consumer behaviour and preferences, allowing them to tailor their marketing efforts to increase the likelihood of conversion. The ability to track the success of marketing campaigns in real time provides valuable insights into what is working and what needs to be optimized, leading to a higher return on investment.
3. Enhanced Customer Loyalty
By engaging with customers on social media, you can build relationships and trust with them, increasing the chances of them returning to buy your goods or services in the future. Digital marketing helps businesses build strong relationships with customers by providing personalized experiences and offering them valuable content.
Through channels such as email marketing and social media, businesses can communicate directly with their customers, gathering feedback and responding to their needs. This not only enhances customer satisfaction but also encourages customer loyalty as they feel valued and connected to the brand. Digital marketing also allows businesses to run loyalty programs and promotions that incentivise repeat purchases and encourage customers to spread the word to their network. By leveraging digital technologies, businesses can deepen their connections with customers and foster long-term brand loyalty.
4. Increased ROI
Unlike traditional marketing channels, digital marketing is often much more cost-effective, allowing businesses to reach more people for less money. Digital marketing allows businesses to reach a larger audience with a more cost-effective and measurable approach than traditional marketing methods. By targeting specific segments of the population, businesses can ensure their marketing efforts are reaching their desired audience, resulting in a higher return on investment. Digital marketing also provides valuable insights into consumer behaviour, enabling businesses to make data-driven decisions and optimize their campaigns for maximum impact.
Additionally, the ability to track and measure the success of digital marketing campaigns in real time allows businesses to adjust their strategies and allocate resources more efficiently, further increasing their return on investment.
5. Improved Customer Insights
With the help of analytics and reporting, businesses can gain valuable insight into who their audience is, what they’re interested in and how they interact with their brand. This can be used to inform future marketing decisions and optimize campaigns for greater success. Digital marketing provides businesses with valuable insights into consumer behaviour, preferences and feedback. This information can be gathered through various means such as website analytics, social media monitoring, and email campaigns.
By analyzing this data, businesses can gain a better understanding of their customers and make informed decisions about product development, marketing strategies, and overall business operations. Additionally, digital marketing platforms allow businesses to conduct market research and surveys to gather even more in-depth information about their target audience. With the help of digital marketing, businesses can continuously improve their understanding of their customers, leading to a better customer experience and increased customer satisfaction.
6. More Opportunities for Personalisation
Thanks to digital marketing tools like email automation, it’s now easier than ever to personalize your content and tailor it directly to the needs of individual customers. This can be incredibly powerful in building relationships with leads and customers. Digital marketing provides businesses with ample opportunities for personalization, allowing them to create customized experiences for their customers. With the help of technology and data, businesses can tailor their messages, offers and experiences to the individual needs and preferences of their customers.
This level of personalization leads to increased customer engagement and satisfaction, as customers feel that the brand is offering them something unique and tailored to their needs. By leveraging digital marketing channels, businesses can collect and analyze data on their customers’ behaviour, making it easier to understand their preferences and provide them with a more personalized experience.
7. Faster Feedback Loops
With digital marketing, businesses can quickly measure the success of their campaigns and adjust in real time, making it easier to get feedback quickly and optimize for better performance. This fast feedback loop allows businesses to quickly respond to customer needs and address any issues, improving the overall customer experience. A lot of people think they can just simply get a sales script and read it out; this is not a successful method of gaining sales. So, let’s talk about sales scripts, actually, instead let’s talk about food. Have you ever watched a master chef cook up something? They don’t work off a recipe with a set of ingredients, instead they just make something that tastes great! The reason they can do this is that they have an understanding of how the ingredients will react with each other and how they will complement one another.
The chef has a plan, a vision for what their end product will taste like. So therefore a good chef doesn’t need to go by a recipe. Now if your average Joe like you or me were to cook something complex, we would need a recipe. This is a lot like a sales script. Even with the recipe I still may not make a good product at the end. This is because I don’t understand how each of the ingredients interact. I don’t know what many of these herbs and spices taste like on their own, and I sure don’t know how to fuse them together to make outlandish flavours.
So, if you think of a sales script, they are similar to a recipe in this sense. What I have found with people in sales is, Sure! You might get results using a script, but they are never going to be amazing results. If you want amazing results, you have to understand how the different components of a sales script work!
Today we are going to run through the key components that make up a good sales script. This way you can start thinking about what makes a good sales script and how to have more powerful conversations from it. This is all marketing based, there are four key elements to any marketing or sales phone call. It doesn’t matter whether you are doing a cold call out, or if you are answering calls!
Firstly, you have to get a prospect’s attention! You may have heard this before; it is 80% of the battle, right?? ESPECIALLY if you’re cold calling! If you don’t get a person’s attention as soon as they answer the phone you’re dead! You’re gone! They aren’t sticking around to listen to you, why would they? You couldn’t blame them, could you?
So the first ingredient is to get their attention. How you do this is completely up to you. But you must have an immediate impact, no fluffing around or else it’s Adios! See ya! Good luck!
The key to any good marketing or sales pitch is grabbing your target’s attention!
The second key ingredient of our sales script is getting or creating interest. How we create interest on a sales call is through asking great questions and being interesting.
So once we have gained our prospect’s attention we have a set of questions that we must ask. These can be scripted… But, you have got to ask the right questions! You can’t just ask any old questions, the best thing to do is have a set of questions that will get your clients thinking, make them understand that they could be better off, that they are settling, getting too comfortable. Or maybe they are missing out on something.
Numerous studies show that people suffer from FOMO, they don’t like missing out on something. Ask questions that pique their interest, make them want what you are talking about! Ask them questions about themselves, people love talking about themselves, right?
The third ingredient we are going to discuss is desire. You have to create desire! But how do we go about creating desire?
Well, you can talk about results, for example the results that other clients have achieved, and this may create desire. You could have a special offer on, for example you may talk about your offer, it’s only on for a month and is soon expiring, and you don’t want to miss it! Or, for your first few customers you might have a special offer running. You have to create some sort of desire within your clients, there and then. For example, I’ll give you free delivery, a special price, sure I’ll throw in something extra for you if you purchase now.
If you have asked the right questions, you should have uncovered any problems, you can offer your clients a solution to their problems, this can also help create desire, which is extremely important!
The fourth ingredient we are going to look at is Action. You will find that a lot of people don’t do this. You have to pursue the sale! Ask your prospects what time they are available. You have to ask, “Will I meet you in person, or would you prefer to meet via a Zoom Call?” you have to ask for them to take action. For example you might say, “Look, the next steps are,” or, “How would you like me to send that, via Email or SMS?”
Notice that these are questions that give them an either or option, you are guiding to take action, you are pursuing an end result for your previous steps to make your sale happen in reality!
So there you have it, here are the four main ingredients to a good sales script. If you merely download a premade sales script and you read it out, it’s the same thing as using a recipe when you don’t understand the ingredients.
If you want to get good at sales and succeed in this area, it is really important that you understand the ingredients.
If you understand these ingredients and how they work individually, then you will crush them sales figures!
1. ExperienceExperience is a crucial trait to look out for in a business coach. Check out their resume. What have they accomplished? Do they have any accomplishments in your field? Your coach must have walked the walk before they start to talk the talk. Ensure that your business coach has paid their dues in the business world and has real-life experiences to help you shape your path. Ideally, they will have both failure and success stories which you must listen to so you will avoid making similar mistakes and boost your chances of being successful quickly.
2. FlexibilityEvery business coach must be open-minded, especially with scheduling. Your business coach must be understanding and flexible enough to realize that you have other things to do and have to work with strict deadlines sometimes. While they give you materials and details to help you become successful, they must know about your schedule and be flexible enough to work with it. Even if they have numerous mentees, they can’t apply a one-size-fit-all technique to coaching.
3. AttitudeMake sure that your business coach has the right attitude to coaching. You’ll soon find that the right coaching attitude comes with experience for many. So if you have an experienced coach, they’re likely to have the right attitude. Since they’ve been through it, they know what you’re going through and how to pull you through. They can see the bigger picture, so they are not easily upset even when you misbehave. They must have a patient, persistent, and determined character to make a good business coach.
4. Ability to hold people accountableYour business coach must have the ability to hold you accountable for your actions. This is the only way that they can genuinely help you grow. According to the best UK essay writing service, it’s their responsibility to see that you are successful, and your success lies in the plans you make and the actions you take. They must see this and ensure that you follow laid-down procedures. You cannot afford to slack for a second, and your coach must provide this.
5. AccessibilityAccessibility is an essential trait for a business coach. Your coach has to be there for you. They need to show care and concern for your problem and help you solve it. They must be available to teach, lead, and motivate you. If you can’t reach them or access them every time you need them, then you need to ask if they’re your coach. Availability and accessibility are the basic foundation of mentorship. They must be there when you need them. If they are busy people, as they likely will be, you both must sort out a schedule that works for both parties.
6. Excellent communication skillsA coach constantly passes information, tips, and strategies that their protégé needs to succeed in their business. They must have strong communication skills. This will help them pass their message across clearly and effectively.
7. Love for teachingIf your mentor doesn’t love to teach, then you have the wrong mentor. People develop the skill to teach effectively over time, and you must be sure that your mentor has set that skill. Beyond developing it, they must love to teach. This is the only way you can be sure that you’re in safe hands. A good litmus test is to note how they treat you and talk to you from the start of your interaction with them. If they are not already giving you tips and trying to pass across vital information to you from the get-go, then you might be better off working with a different coach. Coaching itself is teaching!
ConclusionIf you’re going to be successful as a business person, you need to have a business coach. This is even important if you want to attain that success quickly enough. A business coach will put you through and help you avoid mistakes that they made so you can have a smoother sail. However, to choose the best business coach, there are traits that you must look out for. Some of these are discussed in this article.

The Business Book of the Day is The E Myth Revisited: Why Most Small Businesses Don’t Work and What to Do About It. In this book, Michael Gerber talks about the common mistake that small businesses make in not looking for a system that will work for them instead of working within their business.
He also talks about how one can avoid these same mistakes and build a Business that Doesn’t Fail. This is a very popular book for small business owners. This book is out of print; however, you can still find copies on Amazon or eBay.
Dale Carnegie is an author and lecturer who prospers with the notion that people can be influenced to change their behavior, and not just educated. In his book How to Win Friends & Influence People, he provides many techniques on how one can be a more effective communicator. He writes about topics like creating enthusiasm in others for projects or ideas, handling objections, and providing people with information so that they are able to make informed decisions.
Carnegie also touches on other areas of leadership such as dealing with anger conflicts and understanding the different types of personalities.
This book is a must-read for anyone in leadership or human resources.
The author looks at why some companies are able to make the leap and become great while others do not. The book is from the business management genre, but it contains a lot of information for almost every type of business and career.
The author compares his findings with what he calls Good to Great companies. He then analyzes what they have in common that made them different from the rest.
He also offers an idea as to what these characteristics can be seen in other areas, such as public education or government.
This book is also very popular and a great read if you are looking to start your own small business.
The Magic of Thinking Big is a motivational book written by David J. Schwartz for readers who are looking to improve themselves and achieve success.
It begins with the story of Edwin C. Barnes, an extremely average man who was unexpectedly given money by his father, which he used to found the company that later became known as Walmart. The story goes on to show how Barnes achieved his success through persistence and determination – two qualities necessary for achieving anything in life – not just wealth and fame.
Schwartz also writes about various ways people can think bigger, no matter what they need to do or accomplish in life. For example, we often set out with the idea that we have one chance, but this is not necessarily true since there are always other chances to do whatever it is we have to do. If we try again and fail, it is never too late to keep trying. If at first, you don’t succeed, try, try again until ultimately success is achieved.
Other methods of thinking big include the idea of making goals realistic rather than setting unattainable ones, instead of saying that something “can’t be done” when in fact it can. It is not the “can’t be done” attitude that holds us back, it is instead of our own personal conviction of what we can and cannot do with our lives. If you have a big enough dream, then going after it won’t seem so impossible, but a challenge worth completing.
You’ve just been handed a great idea, something that you know will make you rich. Now what? Napoleon Hill was faced with the same question in 1937 when he was presented with the idea for Think and Grow Rich! This book is as relevant now as it has ever been, and can teach you all about how to think and grow rich.
The book tells the story of two men. One of them, Andrew Carnegie, went from steelworker to billionaire through hard work, dedication, determination, and perseverance. The other man was simply intelligent but lazy; he had all the means necessary to be successful but never reached his potential. Napoleon Hill’s goal for this book is to provide its readers with a proven way to climb out of the rut of mediocrity and into the ranks of successful people.
Hill also spends a great deal of time talking about the power of desire – having goals that are so clear in your mind that it seems as if they were already achieved, which then drives you to take action.
This book is well worth reading for anyone who wants to achieve true success.
In The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Stephen Covey provides a comprehensive guide to help people take control of their lives and become more effective.
The book is divided into seven habits: Be Proactive, Begin with the End in Mind, Put First Things First, Think Win-Win, Seek First to Understand Then to be Understood, Synergize and Sharpen the Saw.
Each of these is explained in detail, and it is made clear how they can be applied to reach success.
Throughout the book, Covey uses various anecdotes from famous historical figures such as Thoreau and George Washington to illustrate his points. He also says that we should think about life as a journey, not a destination; something that many motivational writers have also said, and something that always proves to be an interesting perspective.
Covey shows us how he had achieved success through the 7 Habits and offers his methods for doing so, as well as important advice on achieving success in business and personal life.
Guerrilla Marketing is a comprehensive guide for anyone looking to market their business. The book provides a variety of different marketing tactics, all of which are easy to implement and offer a lot in return in terms of publicity and success. The entire premise is that people need to get out there and market themselves if they want to become successful – guerrilla marketing is just the way to do that.
Jay Conrad Levinson starts off by talking about how society has gone from being one in which most things were marketed locally to one in which everything is globalized. He goes on to say that there are new rules for marketing today because companies now have more competition than ever before; furthermore, a company’s marketing department can no longer just sell its own product, it has to sell the entire company.
Levinson’s strategies are all based on getting people talking about your business. They include unconventional methods such as creating small events and parties around your business and then using guerrilla tactics to promote yourself. He also discusses other methods such as giving unusual tips in articles for newspapers.
Guerrilla Marketing is a very interesting read that can help anybody become more successful in any area of life, not just business. A must-read for anyone who wishes to market anything.
In Atomic Habits, James Clear shows us how our habits are the key to achieving goals and strategies for building new and more powerful habits. He has a very easy-to-understand writing style and uses many examples from his personal life to illustrate his points.
The book is broken up into three parts: the first explains the science of habit formation, the second discusses why habits do not work in certain situations, and the third goes into detail about how to build the habits which will best help you reach your goals.
Clear’s goal is to provide readers with tools that can be used to improve their lives in every way possible: mentally, physically, socially, and spiritually. And it’s clear that he provides those tools because he starts off by talking about how many people never reach their goals for a variety of different reasons, such as not knowing what those goals are in the first place.
He says that the best way to fix this is by having a vision and making it clear to yourself exactly what you want out of life; if you can do that, then you will be able to figure out the habits that are going to help you get there and succeed in life.
Clear’s message is one of determination. He says that if you believe in yourself, focus on the right things and work hard to achieve your goals then anything can be possible.
In The Compound Effect, Darren Hardy provides readers with a series of helpful hints and tips for achieving long-term goals. He says that in order to achieve those goals, readers need to focus on one thing at a time. This allows them to work at something until they reach their desired goal; rather than trying to make many changes all at once, which is an overwhelming task and ultimately won’t be as effective.
This book is written with the businessperson in mind, but it can be applied to many other aspects of life. – such as health or relationships. Hardy starts off by talking about how people who are successful take things step-by-step and concentrate on improving one thing at a time, before tackling another.
He also discusses how small changes can have a big impact over time and why it is important for readers to work on the right things. In addition, Hardy goes into detail about what that one thing should be when people are looking to achieve success – such as concentrating on skills instead of intelligence or focusing on passion instead of talent.
The Compound Effect is a very interesting read that gives readers tips on how to achieve their goals. Hardy has a very easy-to-understand writing style and uses many examples from his life to illustrate his points.
The 4-Hour Workweek is a book about achieving the dream. It teaches people how to generate more money by working less; and asserts that all of us can lead more productive and rewarding lives using the principles of minimalism. Timothy also shares his life experience with readers about how he managed to transform himself from an average employee to a successful entrepreneur in four hours a week.
In The 4-Hour Workweek, Tim Ferriss shares various techniques for limiting the time spent on certain tasks: for example, one of the most valuable tools is deferring e-mail checking until “time-boxed” periods that last 20 min or less. He also advocates staying focused on one project at a time and minimising the amount of multitasking done. The book encourages readers to spend more time planning their days, and less time executing them.
The 4-Hour Workweek is a great book for anyone who wishes to have more time or would like to start his/her own business. It is full of tips on life organisation and it makes you think about your priorities.
