4 Tools you need to make Managing Social Media Easier in 2019

A strong social media presence is no longer an option in 2019 but rather a necessity. The problem with this is it means that marketers are continually facing an ever-growing list of new responsibilities.

This means if you want your social media marketing to be effective, you’re going to need to spend some time focusing on it and you’re going need the right tools for the job. Tools that will help you to manage and organise your social media content effectively.

Luckily, in 2019, there are literally hundreds of tools available to help you effectively manage your social media marketing, so let’s find out some of the most important.

#1 Scheduling software

An absolute must if you’re going to manage social media effectively in 2019 is scheduling software. There are many options available when it comes to the scheduling software which is most suitable for you and your decision will come down to which one best suits your needs.

Some of the most common platforms are Buffer, Hootsuite, Agora Pulse and Sprout Social to name a few.

There are slight variations in all of them but each of these are designed to make it easy for businesses to schedule posts, analyse post performance and manage all their social accounts in one place.

#2 Canva

Anyone who manages social media for a business knows that you need to be able to create beautiful and on brand images quickly and easily, and often without a designer. Enter Canva.

Canva (and other design tools like it) are simple ‘drag and drop’ software options which allow you to easily make great looking content and graphics. There are ready made templates to pick from if you struggle to find ideas for your content, there are also icons and illustrations available to use so that your designs will still look great even if you’re not really the creative type.

#3 Content Curation

Part of the challenge of using social media is knowing what to post, a content curation tool does the trick here.

A tool like BuzzSumo will help you to easily discover new and trending content on the web which you can then post to your social media accounts.

And using content creation software is quite easy! Simply plug in a topic or keyword and the software will search all relevant articles on the web relating to that topic and deliver it to you. Some software will even post it directly to your social media accounts for you!

#4 Unsplash

Before you ‘oh no not another stock photo site’, Unsplash is different, it boasts a massive library of professional, and very modern photos you can use all for free.

Simply use the search bar and type in the topic you’re after, or select from one of the available categories and watch the image results appear. There are shots to suit most industries and the modern style of the shots means you’re not using outdated and boring stock photos.


Social media marketing is a necessity in 2019. Without a strong social presence, you are missing out on opportunities to connect with your audience in a way you haven’t been able to before.
