Yes, there actually is an “app for that”.
In business today, you should be looking for applications, software and other technology that is readily available to help you save time, money and headache.
I am going to share with you some of my favourite apps that I use almost daily.
Wunderlist:
Want to write a list but don’t want to carry your notebook home? Use Wunderlist.
If I think of something at my desk, I open the app and make a list.
Because I have created a login, it is also available on my phone and on my home pc. Wunderlist is awesome because it not only helps you make to – do lists on the go, it allows you to share it with others.
BombBomb
We are living in an age of video. And instead of sending emails, many business owners are now attempting to send personalised and humanised videos to their clients, prospects, people they meet or people they know.
BombBomb is an app that not only lets you make the video but has an easy way of sending it to your recipients’ email, SMS or social media channels. You can not only record and send the video with ease, you can also track to see if they have opened it. All in real time!
According to the people at BombBomb:
To be successful, you need to truly connect with your prospects and clients. But in today’s inbox, basic email just doesn’t cut it. BombBomb puts you back into your sales process, and gets you face to face with the people who matter most!
Trello
If you are looking for a project management app, then Trello is one you need to download and sign up for. It has a free feature and a premium feature, but the free one is good enough. It lets you create an entire timeline, tasks within tasks, checklists, uploads and sharing capabilities. You can share the entire project with those involved and they can update as they go along.
Trello gives you a great bird’s eye view on the entire campaign or project at hand.
Dropbox
Gone are the days where you have to worry about sharing folders and documents with your team or clients. Dropbox allows you to share a folder with anyone. You can give them editing rights or just keep it viewable. You can keep all relevant content in one place and can access it from anywhere.
Evernote
Keeping notes is important to any business owner and is a part of your daily activity and there is an app allows you to keep all your notes and points in one place – Evernote. A great app for keeping notes on the move. The best part is you can add links, photos and other digital details to your motes as well.
DocuSign
Signing documents is part and parcel of being a business owner or CEO. However, if you are remote, on the go all the time, or not in the office when this is needed, it could prove difficult and cause delays in projects and campaigns.
DocuSign is a great app for just this. You can easily apply your signature digitally to documents that need your initials or signature. You can also send that signed document back to whoever sent it to you with your signature.
Do you find yourself struggling to keep up with daily news? Happenings around the world? Latest Marketing Tips? Sometimes, when you are a business owner, you may find it hard to find time to stay up to date on recent trends or publications.
And then when you finally have the time to read the article, you may not be able to find it again. There is an app for that and its free!
Download Flipboard and save your articles from Facebook, News Publications, LinkedIn and other websites for later.
Voice Text
You are driving along the motorway to work and there is an accident. You are now delayed for an hour. You think… “I can use this time to write a blog post for my website”. What do you do…
The voice text app records your dictation and turns it into text. Just start talking and record your article. Once its ready, all you have to do is a few edits and it’s good to go.
You can also send text messages or emails to someone using this app and it is super quick and super-efficient. No hassles and its speech recognition system corrects most of your errors as you speak. It also has over 140 languages programmed in.
