How to Build your Business using Reviews

They say your biggest fans are your current customers. If your clients, customers and/or members love what you do, they are going to tell others. But that doesn’t always happen unless you ask!

Your “raving fans” may only be 2% of your entire client base. Those are the clients who get out there and spread the word about what they love about you.

There are others on the ladder of loyalty. You have your advocates, your members and your shoppers (amongst others). These range from people who love your work but not necessarily tell others about to people who only transact with you once.

Regardless, one of your TOP Marketing Strategies should be getting reviews. People who look for you, look for what others have gained from you and their experience. And there is no better avenue than Google and Facebook. Collecting reviews on those two platforms is key to any businesses success.

We recently interviewed Doren Aldana on the Business Brain Food Podcast. He has been involved with several big corporations and has successful businesses himself.

Doren created a terrific tool that makes collecting reviews super easy to use – a Testimonial Engine.

This is a resource that has helped his clients receive reviews for their business with ease and it also allows Business Owners to filter bad reviews if they don’t want them to be seen.

Every business can benefit from this resource so listen to this interview on the Business Brain Food Podcast.

Doren has shared some great statistics with us during this interview, some of which are listed below:

  • 73% of consumers believe that positive reviews make them trust who they are buying from more.
  • 79% of customers trust online reviews as much as a personal recommendation from a friend or family member.
  • Have a system to make it easy for people to leave reviews, i.e. allow them to do it without needing to create an account with yelp, google etc.

Doren is the CEO and president of and the founder of the Testimonial Engine -- the #1 software for helping local businesses collect and share client reviews on autopilot. Because of his clients' extraordinary success, he has won the prestigious "Best Industry Service Provider" award three years in a row at the 2012, 2013 and 2014. He is also the host of the Local Domination Podcast - where local business owners learn how to get local clients FAST.

Since 2005, Doren has been dedicated to helping business owners attract more clients with less effort, regardless of market conditions. His life mission is to inspire and equip people to create an extraordinary life -- full of passion, purpose and prosperity. His message is the power of testimonials and online reviews to build your business and the “SPEED of TRUST”.

Doren shows you what the value of a good review is and how it can help you grow your business. He also touches on the importance of audio and video reviews as that is what your prospects are looking for.
